Where to put her?

Sunny to half-shadow. After the night frost you can bring your Gardenia outside. Do not let it sit in the direct light of the sun all day, especially in the summer.

Water and nutrition

Gardenia does not grow fast, but it does have much leaf. It needs a lot of water. Check regularly and make certain the soil stays moist. Make certain that your plant’s feet do not remain underwater for over twenty minutes, for it might drown. Add some plant nutrition once every two weeks to support its health and bloom.

Temperature

In the autumn, as soon as night temperatures drop below 10 degrees Celsius, you had best bring your Gardenia back inside your house. Place it somewhere cool (12-14 degrees Celsius) for the winter. Next spring you will find it ready for a new bloom.

We are required to inform you that the plant you have bought is intended for decoration, not for consumption.
